System Faculty Council

Overview

The ľ¹ÏÊÓƵ System Faculty Council (SFC) constituted the principal representative faculty governance body with System-wide responsibilities.  As such, it advised the President and the Provost and Executive Vice President for the ľ¹ÏÊÓƵ System and coordinated communications among the constituent Faculty Senates within the ľ¹ÏÊÓƵ System.  The SFC was a mechanism to discuss issues of importance to faculty across the three ľ¹ÏÊÓƵ System institutions and provided specific recommendations to the administration for new System-wide policies and procedures.

As of July 1st 2020, the duties of the System Faculty Council were taken over by the consolidated Faculty Senate Executive Committee (FSEC).
