AAEES Honored Three ľƵ Engineering Students and Alum

Three members of the University of South Florida community were honored by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists for their achievements. Tione Grant received the 2024 EESF Scholarship, Bruno Mancini earned the 2025 W. Brewster Snow Award, and alumna Addie Buerck was named to the AAEES 40 Under 40 list. ľƵ Graduate Ademilola “Lola” Aderibigbe Launches Cybersecurity Career

Ademilola “Lola” Aderibigbe graduated from the University of South Florida in December 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering – information technology. During her time at ľƵ, she earned honors through the Judy Genshaft Honors College, studied abroad in London, and conducted cybersecurity research in the Cybercrime Interdisciplinary Behavioral Research Lab. Aderibigbe also collaborated on technical projects, including a number-guessing game developed in a systems course. She is now launching her professional career in cybersecurity, aiming to contribute to the evolving tech landscape.
