ľƵ School of Geosciences PhD student Victoria Brown selected for Boren Fellowship
Victoria Brown is pursuing her PhD in Geography and Environmental Science and Policy, with a focus on East African coffee farming. This fall, she will travel to Tanzania through a Boren Fellowship to study Swahili and perform research for the 2025-26 academic year.

When Hilda Sheridan-Hewlett moved from London, England to Tampa, FL. to study literature and film, she was so swept away by the natural beauty of the local beaches that she decided to write and direct a short film. The final product, “Lost in the Current," has so far been screened at five film festivals.
