ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

The ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ community is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs until Oct. 15. Details about the various events occurring on ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ's campuses can be found here.

  • The vitality of the ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Hispanic community was felt on the dance floor at the ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Rec Center.

  • The students learned to salsa with the ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Latin Dance Club. 

  • The ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Latin Dance Club meets twice a week on the Tampa campus and holds monthly socials open to all at the Marshall Student Center.

  • The ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ community gathered to celebrate at the Hispanic Heritage Month luncheon hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

  • Throughout the luncheon, a local mariachi band serenated the group with traditional songs and variations on classic melodies.

  • Traditional foods, such as rice, beans and plantains, were served at the luncheon.

  • Bull Market featured the Hispanic Heritage Month showcase.

  • The Hispanic Heritage Month showcase featured various student organizations, departments, local businesses and special performances.

  • Bull Market occurs weekly outside the Marshall Student Center on the Tampa campus.
