Dr. Vickie A. Lynn is the Chair of the Face-to-Face MSW Program at the University of South Florida and Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services. She brings a background in social work and public health to her work as an educator, researcher, and practitioner. With more than a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Lynn values collaboration and a supportive learning environment that prepares students for practice in diverse health and social service settings.
Her research and teaching interests include simulation-based learning, technology
in social work education, interprofessional training, integrated models of care, and
HIV-related health and social services. Recent projects have examined the use of virtual
clinical simulations to strengthen MSW student competencies, with attention to technology
adoption and instructional design.
At ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Health, Dr. Lynn plays an active role in Interprofessional Education Day, bringing
together students from multiple health disciplines to strengthen teamwork and problem-solving
skills. As Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS and Social Services, she contributes
to advancing scholarship at the intersection of education, healthcare, and social
work practice. Her work reflects a commitment to bridging education, research, and
practice to prepare future professionals and improve service delivery in communities.
