Liz Brown is a communications and marketing manager for the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. She writes for the college’s website, produces the monthly newsletter, coordinates media outreach, manages the team's student assistants, and oversees news coverage of special events, social media, as well as other communications-related tasks.

In 2022, the communications and marketing team won a ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ Outstanding Staff - Team Award.

Before joining the Muma College of Business in October 2021, Brown worked as a news writer on the communications and marketing team at the ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ College of Nursing. In 2021, the team won a Silver Institutional Award in the Communications Pivot category from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District III.

Before joining ľ¹ÏÊÓÆµ, Brown worked as a reporter at The Tampa Tribune, covering various beats that included communities, planning and development, and transportation in northwest Hillsborough County. Prior to that, she was a reporter at the Pensacola News Journal, where she covered Santa Rosa County government and the Pensacola city council. Brown also was a reporter for the North Hills News Record in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Brown graduated with honors from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
