Biography

Mohammad Al Olaimat is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of South Florida, affiliated with the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Computing and the Center for Innovation, Technology, and Aging. His research centers on the development of artificial intelligence and deep learning models to analyze multimodal electronic health records, clinical notes, imaging, and biological data. By integrating these diverse data sources, his work seeks to improve early detection, prediction, and personalized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and other age-related conditions.

Al Olaimat has published in leading venues, including Bioinformatics and the ISMB/PSB conference proceedings, and has contributed to NIH-funded projects focused on interpretable and time-aware AI architectures for healthcare applications. He is also passionate about mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in machine learning, bioinformatics, and healthcare AI, preparing the next generation of researchers to drive innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine.
